Additional If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer Information

In 1994, Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson were brutally murdered at her home in Brentwood, California. O.J. Simpson was tried for the crime in a case that captured the attention of the American people, but was ultimately found not guilty of criminal charges. The victims' families brought civil cases against Simpson, in which he was found liable for willfully and wrongfully causing the deaths of Ron and Nicole by committing battery with malice and oppression.

In 2006, HarperCollins announced the publication for a book in which O.J. Simpson told how he hypothetically would have committed the murders. In response to public outrage that Simpson stood to profit from these crimes, HarperCollins canceled the book. A Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the Goldmans in August 2007 to partially satisfy the unpaid civil judgment, which has risen, with interest, to over $38 million.

What Customers Say About If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer:

Its a fast read with a lot of the information you want to know and maybe you didn't. Buy this book. Book's intro was insightful and the story itself was easily well written and well worth a read. BUT YOU WILL BE GLAD FOR THE INFORMATION. You wont be disappointed and the money goes to a well deserving cause. The ghost writer's information was helpful. I couldn't put the book down and read it in a day.

I highly recommend this book for everyone who knows the truth about these horrible murders I am still reading this book, but I find it very interesting and can't wait to finish it.

Years later and they were still fighting for their lost son. He certainly isn't now nor has he in the past, ever put their best interest first. Here they were again. They never seem to give up this fight against this poor excuse of a man.

This is how I felt. Then one day recently I was watching Dr Phil. Right before he describes what HE DID that night. I had to keep putting it down because I was angry. I feel sorry for anyone who enters that world. He would get NO attention from me.

There was a battle between the Goldmans and the Browns about the whole issue. This time I felt different. Over and over again in his own words, you can hear how wonderful he is and how she messed it all up for them. There was Fred and Kim Goldman. I never wanted to read it.

Trust me, when he is telling his "story" you'll hear over and over again how he was a great husband, ex-husband, father, friend, lover, athlete and, if you read between the lines you'll hear him tell you how he was a great murderer. The only thing I don't think I heard him repeat while telling his story was the word "hypothetical". This guy is so full of it and lives in a world of his own. He also tells you how screwed up Nicole was, how she slept around, did drugs, was a bad influence on his kids('but she was a great mother'), how she had a real bad temper, how she was the abuser in the relationship, how he gave her a wonderful life, and on and on.

I swore I never would. He gives himself enough attention as it is. He even goes so far as to say that the painstaking Bronco ride took less than an hour. But really it only confirms that he is an idiot. He said it one time.

Why the Goldmans HAVE TO do this. As far as it hurting the family and the children, the killer did that already in the worse possible way and that bell cannot be un-rung.Sell the book and let them reap some of the benefits. I truly understand why the Browns feel the way they do about this book. I want you to understand why it has to be sold.

But the rest of this book explains so much about why it must be sold and purchased by all of us. This has been the biggest miscarriage of justice I have seen in my lifetime. Reading his story was just plain sickening to me. Trust me, you'll get nauseous, you'll feel anger, bitterness, resentment and sorrow.

I had watched when they were on Oprah and people were hating on them for wanting to get this thing published. There is Ron, whose life was wasted, and there is the killer, whose life is a waste.I gave this book five stars because I WANT YOU TO READ IT.

The whole book is a portfolio of an abusive man. All through the book, all I read was," I did this because Nicole said this",or "I said this because Nicole did that". I am glad that the proceeds of this book go to a charity foundation because I wouldn't want one penny to go to that killer. I, too, have been watching this saga go on for 14 years. I have thought all along that O.J was guilty, and this book just confirms it for me.

I think OJ did it, I am glad they perserved, even though they got some bad press.all of us know he did it, only the jury voted diffrently.Im glad they explained all the legal process, and the judge telling them to print it.Good Job Goldmans.
